2008 & 2011 Poster Winner

Congratulations to Lawrence Sahulka, the 2008 and 2011 Greater Anderson Days Poster design winner!

Lawrence's 2008 poster design concept:
“My approach in designing the Greater Anderson Days poster was to visually celebrate the weekend event in an expressive, sophisticated manner that was fitting for the tenth anniversary milestone. Architectural landscape design references seen at Beech Acres Park were incorporated to give notation to the event’s location. The Sunday evening fireworks display was also integrated to help emphasize the “crescendo moment” of the festivities.

Overall, this was an exciting project for me to work on, and I’m truly honored that my poster design was selected to represent the GAD’s tenth anniversary”

Lawrence's 2011 poster design concept:
“My design approach for the Greater Anderson Days poster was to visually capture an assortment of festival activities in an expressive, energetic manner that was fitting for this annual Eastside get-together. The visuals within touch on the music, the food, the fireworks, and the total excitement that happens over the summer weekend at Beech Acres.

On several levels, this was an exciting project for me to be involved with. As a member of a local family who enjoy many of the ATPD facilities and programming, I’m truly honored to be part of such a great organization and their colorful, fun event."

Lawrence, a desktop publisher with a professional services firm and a part-time freelance graphic designer, resides in Anderson Township with his wife Tana and two children, Eve and Raymond.
