A Hot Time at the Annual Fireman's Festival
The Fireman’s Festival has been the Anderson Area’s
much-anticipated summer gathering for over half a century.
Drawing the annual crowds is more than just a fundraiser for the Anderson Township Fire & Rescue Department. The Fireman’s Festival is a fun place for adults and children to learn about fire safety from clowns, try on a real firefighter's hat, see actual firefighting gear up close, and sit in the front seat of a fire engine. How often do you get to do that?
Many people attend the festival to try their luck at the poker or blackjack tables. Others take a spin at various games of chance. But few leave Greater Anderson Days without eating at least one ear of famous roasted corn from the fireman’s Buck ‘n Ear Booth. In fact, many adults enjoy their warm, buttery ear of corn with a foamy beverage. The proceeds from all of this help the Fireman's Association donate equipment to the Fire and Rescue Department of Anderson Township.
Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce’s Silent Auction
The silent auction at the Greater Anderson Days will have some awesome, exciting, tempting items. Items so diversified, there is something for everyone! There will be giant baskets with great “treats”. Local TV items and sports memorabilia. Entertainment and sporting event tickets, such as: Cincinnati Reds, Kings Island, The Beach, Cincinnati Zoo, Mighty Ducks, Children’s Theater, Newport Aquarium, Coney Island and Playhouse in the Park.

your cravings with one of the ATPD’s famous fish sandwiches, LaRosa’s

When Greater Anderson Days was conceived, the event was
envisioned to be, among other things, an opportunity to allow businesses
to meet new customers, give organizations more visibility, and raise the
Township’s profile. The Business/Organization Expo, with dozens of local participants, brings the establishments in touch with area residents and gives those outside of Anderson Township the opportunity to see what Anderson Township is all about!
