Once again, Anderson Township Park District is extending an invitation for a community wide Greater Anderson Days poster design contest. The poster design should emphasize the Greater Anderson Days’ 12th Anniversary, and reflect the spirit and essence of this Anderson community celebration.

Congratulations to Brian Green, the 2009 Greater Anderson Days Poster design winner!

Brian's poster design concept:
“Greater Anderson Days has earned a great reputation as a well-organized and entertaining event that defines the spirit and essence of the Anderson community.

To attract patrons to attend the event, I chose to create simple and colorful silhouette symbols to graphically illustrate the great food, live entertainment, fun for all ages and the marquee fireworks taking place on Sunday night. I also wanted to illustrate the daytime hours as well as emphasizing the nighttime fireworks display. So, in
others words, fun all day and into the evening.”

Brian, marketing and design director at DeanHouston, Inc., lives in Anderson Township with his wife and two sons.
