Learn the acceptable methods to repair ball diamonds and get in as many games as possible during the season! The Anderson Township Park District will train interested coaches and parents to properly prepare a ball diamond for play, especially after inclement weather. Field repairs performed without adequate knowledge damages the fields, which often prevents future games from being played.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you attended the Workshop in 2009 and were certified, you are Not required to attend the Workshop again, but you will need to renew your certification. A current certified individual must be present upon ANY repairs being made to an Anderson Township Park District ball diamond; failure to do so may result in lost field privileges and/or fines.
Renewing Certification: To renew your Ball Diamond Repair Certification, complete the Re-Certification form available online, or at the Juilfs Park Office, 8249 Clough Pike, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Once the Re-Certification Form is returned to the ATPD, you will receive your 2010 Ball Diamond Repair Certification ID in the mail within two weeks of submission.
If you are interested in attending the workshop, please complete this registration form by the deadline. Pre-registration is required in order to better serve the participants.
When you arrive, go to the Administrative Office in Juilfs Park to sign-in and to have your photo taken for the ID. Shortly after the scheduled start time, the group will walk to one of the Juilfs Park ball diamonds for the workshop.
The workshop is outdoors, so please dress for the weather!
