Ball Diamond

Veterans Park , depending on the season, offers a top-notch, competition level Ball Diamond and two Soccer Fields. It is the Park District’s policy that Ball Diamonds take precedence over Soccer fields until Labor Day, after which Soccer takes precedence as some of the ball diamonds over lap the soccer fields. The fields are available to the public on a ‘first come, first served’ basis with the exception of exclusive use permits. The prominent Youth Organizations in the area rely heavily on the use of the Park’s fields for their league play. Please refer to the Activities, Events and Field Status Hotline regarding Ball Diamond conditions and Soccer and Lacrosse field closings, (513) 357-6629.
