2011 Honoree: Patrick Fox
Our Patrick was born on December 28, 1985 and passed unexpectedly on February 15, 2011 at 25 years old. He was a caring, genuine, and inspirational person. He was our Saint Patrick.
Patrick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up in Anderson Township with his mom Nancy, dad Peter, and three sisters Elizabeth, Christina, and Mary. He attended Sherwood Elementary, Nagel Middle, and Turpin High Schools. During his childhood he really enjoyed playing sports, with his favorite being baseball. He played football for Nagel and Turpin and proudly wore #53. His charismatic personality was undeniable, and he was voted Homecoming King his senior year.
After graduating from Turpin in 2004, he was a member of Sigma Chi and he graduated from OSU with a BA in Journalism in 2008. While in college he met his true love Emily Bruckmann whom he planned to marry. He also received an MA in Education from NKU. He had a passion for teaching and working with high school students. He made an enormous, positive impact on the lives of his students both at Turpin while substitute teaching, coaching football for 7 years, and most recently teaching at Bracken County High School until his passing. He was a friend and mentor to every student he taught.
Patrick, our hearts are broken; we love you more than anything. You will always be the best son, brother, boyfriend, uncle, teacher, coach, and friend. It was an honor to have you in our lives.
