Young Rembrandts' Drawing Classes
ages 3½ - 12
Register in advance. Lets get ready to draw amazing things together! Young Rembrandts’ innovative, step-by-step drawing method can teach any child how to draw, regardless of their artistic ability. All materials are provided and new lessons are taught each week. Come join the fun!
Pre-School Drawing ~ ages 3½ - 6 |

Young Rembrandts classes give children the skills necessary to draw more complex images. Young children spend the first three years of life discovering the world; gathering, collecting, examining and processing more stimuli in the pre-school years than any other time in their development, preparing their brains for more advanced learning. Young Rembrandts has created a unique method of drawing that will maximize development, training in art and will prepare pre-schoolers as learners.
Weekly Young Rembrandts guided drawing instruction helps pre-school children:
- Learn to follow directions
- Hold and use a pencil
- Understand and draw basic shapes
- Stay on task and complete activities
- Increase their attention span
- Gain fine motor and handwriting skills
- Develop their image vocabulary
- Enhance their communication skills
- Prepare for Kindergarten
- Increase their self confidence and self esteem

Cartoon Drawing ~ ages 6 - 12 |

Young Rembrandts' cartoon classes are based on our original, top quality curriculum and follow our same step-by-step method with the additional fun and excitement of cartooning. The original Young Rembrandts cartoons lessons teach children how to:
- Create original cartoon characters
- Draw action, movement and sounds
- Draw expressions to convey moods
- Develop a series of drawings that tell a joke
While cartooning is fun and engaging, your child will gain mastery in a unique drawing style, and improve their core learning skills.

Elementary Drawing ~ ages 6 - 12 |

Young Rembrandts' elementary-age curriculum is designed to teach basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques, and vocabulary. As students are introduced to a new subject matter each week, they learn a variety of art concepts including:
- Portraiture
- Perspective
- Still life
- Realism/Abstraction
- Art history
- Color theory
- Fundamental composition skills
- Line and patterning
- Art vocabulary
