Ball Diamond Repair
Certification
Workshop
Interested coaches and parents can now learn acceptable methods of field repair
following inclement weather in order to get in as many games as possible during
the season. Before this workshop, too many individuals who lacked proper
field repair knowledge damaged fields, preventing future games from play. The
Anderson Township Park District staff is offering a free Ball Diamond Repair Workshop
to certify coaches, parents and officials in the proper methods of ball diamond
repair. At the Anderson Township Park District, only certified individuals may attempt
to prepare a ball diamond. To become certified, you must attend one of
two workshops offered every spring. In addition to learning proper prepare
methods, you will receive a Certification ID at the workshop. The ID is
valid for the entire season.
