A Fair of the Arts: Call for Artists
Applications are due by July 10 for artists who wish to exhibit in the annual A Fair of the Arts event, planned for September 19 at Beech Acres Park.

This event features local artists who offer works of art in fine crafts, fiber art, stained glass, pottery, mixed media, photography... More info


Jim Grabowski Memorial Volleyball Tournament: August 1 at 4 pm
Support the family-friendly Jim Grabowski Memorial Fund for Fun through an annual volleyball fundraising tournament. The fund allows kids to play in park district instructional sports programs and leagues.


Open to adult co-ed quads of all skills levels, this lottery style tournament takes place on seven lit sand courts. Event features bid 'n buy, refreshments, music, bar and more. T-shirts provided. More info


Park Safety Reminder
The Hamilton County Sheriffs' Department has reported multiple car break-ins in the area, including the parking lots in the Anderson Parks. Please remember to lock your vehicle and do not leave any valuables in your car. This includes purses tucked under the seat.

If you see any suspicious or simply "out of place" activity, please report it immediately by either calling 911 or The Hamilton County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 513-825-2280.


Capital Levy Information and Survey Results
Based on the results of a recent community survey, the Board of Park Commissioners is considering a capital levy to purchase the Beech Acres Park RecPlex and Beech Acres property and/or make various park improvements. more info

Celebration/Run to Remember event comes to a close
After 11 years of remembering dozens of loved ones in the greater Anderson community, the difficult decision has been made to discontinue the Celebration/Run to Remember.

The park district is truly grateful to have been included as a small part of each honoree's family and friends. We thank everyone for all of the support throughout the years... more info

2015 Dog Field Permits on sale now!
Everyone knows pooches love to play! The Dog Field at Kellogg Park is fun for you and your dog. Features include a 4-acre, fenced, off-leash area complete with a doggie drinking fountain. A permit is required for access, which maintains a quality environment for dogs and their owners, including required vaccinations (for the dogs!). more info
